Pitch. Black. Darkness.

My eyes attempt to adjust, yet see nothing. I am engulfed in complete blackness. Not even a hint of light can be seen. My eyes are wide open but there is nothing in front of me. Nothing I can see.

I am petrified. Uncontrollably shaking. Huddled in a corner of my bedroom. There is no escape. There is nothing I can do. He is coming for me. Because I know the truth. Because I know of his existence.

The task had so much more depth but it didn't.

I begged to my dad, who thought nothing of it, but he gave me the six stars.

I knew what they were for but I didn't. It was confusing yet it wasn't.

This is a piece I am very proud to critique. I have given it 5 stars for impact because it made me think and made me feel something whilst reading it.
The fact that he asks his victim whether they are scared is a very good technique to use. It also makes the reading think "Would I be scared?" In my case, the answer would be "Hell yeah!" If someone pushed a knife against my neck I would be thinking of ways to get out of the situation.
I gave 4 and 1/2 stars for originality because I have never seen a piece of writing like this.
Vision I gave 4 stars because I could see this happening inside my head. That makes it a very good story.
I only have 1 thing to moan about, but that is why we have critique reviews to say good and bad comments.
That would be that "Where would you go on from this?" Think how the story would go on from this!

Well done, this is a very good piece and one of the best I have seen.
